Privacy policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
At Volpaki, we respect your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
1. Who we are
9176-4605 Québec Inc., doing business as Volpaki
Montreal, Quebec
2. Person in charge of the protection of personal information
For any question, request or complaint about your personal information, contact:
Person in charge of the protection of personal information: hello@volpaki.com
By mail: Montreal, Quebec
3. Information we collect
- Calls and emails: the information you choose to give us when you call or write to us.
- Technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes some connection data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
4. Why we use it
- To answer your questions and requests (for example, a service request or quote).
- To keep the site working and secure.
We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, unless the law allows it. We never sell it.
5. How long we keep it
Messages are kept for 12 months and then securely destroyed, unless a law requires us to keep them longer.
6. Who has access (third parties)
Only the people who need it to answer you can access your information. We also use the following providers:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and delivery of contact form messages. Cloudflare may process data outside Quebec, including in the United States.
- Google (Google Maps): the map only loads if you click “Show map”. Google then receives connection data (such as your IP address) under its own privacy policy.
When information is communicated outside Quebec, we make sure it receives adequate protection, as the law requires.
7. Your rights
At any time, you may:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request the correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
- withdraw your consent to its use or ask that it be deleted;
- ask to receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability).
To exercise your rights, write to the person in charge named in section 2. We will reply in writing within 30 days.
8. Security
The site is only served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss and unauthorized access or disclosure. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
9. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our answer or with how we handle your information, please write to the person in charge first (section 2). You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec:
